Thanks JT - Antenna makes sense I guess as it's a two way toggle and getting power from splicing in to the brown cable and had its own seperate inline fuse...

I'll see how I can creatively deal with either hiding a hole or finding something to do with the switch - ignition shut off makes some sense as a starting point.
Is it an on/off or momentary contact switch?

In the mid '80's I bought a radiator fan kit from Pantera Performance that came with a momentary contact switch. It would turn the overkill fans off when you depressed it. It seems the fans drew tons of current. The switch disabled the fans during a hot start so you had 100% of battery power available to start the car.
