I say this guy went too far in modifying his Pantera. I think he royaly screwed it up. What do you guys think?

I'm sure he gets really good traction, and can turn on dime, but probably doesn't have a good top-end and not very aerodynamic.

My biggest objection is he added so much weight to the car. Colin Chapman said to add lightness. I am a big believer in that philosophy.

Reminds me of the summer I drove D-3 and D-4 CATS over in Salinas, turning over fields for replanting. One day I opened up the CAT, with no implements, and headed out across the field. Center of field, I pulled the right lever and stomped the right pedal. A massively quick 450 degree turn and then I released and sped forward.

The 18" depression in the field took a lot of discing before it sort of went away. Luckily the foreman didn't see me and the depression wasn't visible from the edge of the field.

They truly do turn on a dime
