Pensacola used to have an Aircraft Cartier you can tour (the Lexington, IIRC), but there is also the Battleship Alabama, and a couple submarines (including a Hunley replica) you can tour.

Pensacola also has its own version of New Orleans French Quarter, but I’d rather see the stuff I described above.

Memphis has Beale St. great nightlife. Nashville is in that corridor more or less. More fantastic nightlife. Atlanta has an amazing cars and coffee although i think they call it something else
The gulf shore seems like a bit of a detour from where u are but thats just me

Right now biggest concern is having to drive to Gulf AND they show rain right now for those days. So I'm looking for tourist area for those that don't drive to the coast? Near a lake? Last time I stayed near Stone Mountain, $$$
