We have heard the roar of another Pantera on the road!

The boys in Tucson are holding a meeting on Thursday June 27th at 7:00pm at Hot Rod's.

We would like to get the local Tucson “cats” together to look at each other’s cars, and tell each other how great Panteras are!

We can meet at “Hot-Rods – Old Vail” at 0700 PM. This would give us some time to hang around, talk, have a beverage or two, and then have a nice dinner (Burgers / Tacos / etc.) .

No business – just fun.

Special Note - We are hoping for a couple more exotics, a Lamborghini Diable, and a classic Ferrari - we can tease them about their expensive maintenance costs!

The Phoenix cats are welcome too.

Hot Rods is easy to get to:

I-10 to Houghton (South East Side of Tucson), Exit Houghton – Go North.

10500 E Old Vail Road
Tucson, AZ 85747
(520) 202-0987

If anyone from Phx has the inclination to attend, please email Gil Mares and perhaps a car pool can be arranged.

A picture of the cat that brought us together!

Also - impressions of our club president.....

Doing things on a whim has proved to be quite rewarding.

My many thanks to Chuck H., Jim F., Wade M., Ken D., Larry., Eric., Drew., etc........

Very cool place for a meeting, and a great bunch of guys!

The staff at the restaurant was very accommodating, they had 30 seats ready for us in a nice corner of the restaurant(Thanks Steve C.)

Hot Rods...

I thought I died and went to heaven. This is a working garage and restaurant. You can be swilling a cold beverage and watch the technicians do body work.

This is not a fabricating shop, but rather a back to old school mechanics shop. They have 8 technicians on site doing various task. The tour included watching at least 10 projects under different tasks, electrical, body paint, conversion, etc....

The restaurant is a two story with a spectacular view from the upstairs patio, all car stuff. The restaurant is located in the far east valley of Tucson and is in a remote area, 25 acres. You are just a mere three miles just north of the interstate 10 on Houghton.
