Two dummies changing shocks

Cool.

Too bad it doesn't take only 5 minutes to change out the shocks and lower ball joints. That would be nice!

Haha, yep - the ball joint alone took at least two hours of pounding, he left out the part where I got a hold of the sledgehammer

Only two hours on the ball joint? You got off easy! Actually had you went the sledge hammer you probably would have had it off sooner.

As far as the rotors go - from a sales ad that came with the car, it suggests I´ve got Corvette brakes. Maybe what Hall used to to sell as "Super Stoppers"? Perhaps someone can shed some light on that..?

On another note, the shocks were originally from Dennis Quella, I presume- I got them from a Norwegian Pantera fellow. The ride height turned out 1/2 an inch lower or so all around, and that was after actually adding some front height (the new front shocks were considerably shorter than the ones we removed). This is with 15 inch wheels and 225 50 15 tires up front. Spring rates are 550 front and 650 rear.

Anyway, tremendous difference in how the car feels on the road. Mind you, the old ones were leaky to the point where at least one had even stopped leaking
