At a local British car show, one guy always shows up with a brand new Bentley. It always looks like a nice car but I have little interest in it or the details. My and many others interest in a car is not so much what you can buy but what could you do to make it "Yours".
A car I have put my blood and sweat into is worth far more then anything I could buy. I really don't see ever building or buying anything I want more then the car I am building.
.....NOW.....I would take that money and pay someone to do my day job and someone else to assist me to get this damn thing finished up!
Gary, absolutely LOVE that colour combo! One of the nicest builds Ive seen.
What he ^^^ said...
Thanks, I have had little time to work on it but I am making slow progress. I hope to start the engine in the car soon.
Wow, I have seen SO many cars that when I first read the question, I wouldn't have thought of...
You folks have great taste (obviously, as Pantera people DO!)
My wife and I have just had a bit of a 'simplification' in our lives - comes at this age I guess - and have just sold our family home, 3 collector cars, 2 commercial buildings, and have moved to our lake house.
I/we just felt like it was time to take some chips off the table, go debt free, and see what happens.
I'm kind of 'rethinking' the thoughts of this dream car process. Sometimes I think 'newish' like R8 or another 512TR, or go vintage with a less usable investment.
This thread is perfect food for this time, and I love seeing your input. Keep it coming!

The R8 is one of my favourites.

Well I went out to a FLEA MARKET in Ft Lauderdale FL 2 weeks ago because I heard there were some nice cars inside. What started out as a guy buying a drive in movie theater, with a daytime flee market turned into the "Swap Shop"
the pictures speak for themselves.
My Vote would be if money was no object either the FXX or the 1963 275 GTB/C but I don't have a spare 80 million dollars, (but at least both cars are a nice YELLOW) I would never sell my Pantera I love it.

NICE!!! Nothing beats the Chrysler K-car for performance and beauty.
Now here's a nice Dodge Aries for sale, at a bargain price too!

You are a couple days late with that post.
However, I got to admit I enjoyed watching!
