Roger Sharp has a MIG welder, and there's a tech session scheduled at his place in Morgan Hill in a few weeks, if you can wait that long. Roger has no experience with this repair but will probably do it free. If you can't wait, Jon Long of Loma Prieta Panteras in Los Gatos will do it for money. Jon is an A & P aircraft mechanic, a vintage racer and a Pantera owner. Another woud be Al Leist in Redwood City, who runs Machine Shop Services and is a Pantera owner. Competent to build just about anything- he grinds his own crankshafts & balences engines.
