How can I find out what the original color of my car was?

I contacted Miss Claudia Lodi in Italy at the DeTomaso factory, because my car had been totally disassembled and sand-blasted down to the bare metal and primed with zinc chromate by the previous owner. Even he didn't know the original color because he had an outside vendor do the sand-blasting.

THere are several ways. The easiest is to check the paint under your floormats, or behind the dash up on the firewall & cowl. Panteras were painted before assembly and repaints seldom do the floorboards nor behind the dash.
