I replaced my gauges and one of them I had a trouble finding the correct fuel gauge but autometer had various types and I found one which allowed it to go in the right direction.. Such as Empty is in the directino of E and when the tank is full it's in the F direction. My first fuel gauge was backwards that's why.

But since I got it in the right direction, the ohm is different and I can't get it so it'll work precisly and the only solution I think is.. to other then scraping the gauge I just put in, is to change the fuel sender. I'm not sure what type of fuel sender will work because of the ackwardly shape fuel tank the pantera has, what type of solutions do I have for this? Any help is greatly appreicated!

What you're going to have to do with all your aftermarket gauges is use the proper sender, or modify the stock senders to be electrically compatible with your new gauges. The fuel level gauge will be the most trouble, as it not only must be electrically compatible, it must also physically fit in the Pantera's peculiarly shaped gas tank. You may already have found out that European gauges such as the Panteras do not work the same way as US made gauges. The simplest way I can think of to solve your problem is to disassemble BOTH original and new gauges and swap the faces internally. This will then give you a stock gauge with the 'look' you desire. EVERYTHING else requires breaking new ground in gauge design, or calling a vendor or two that actually sells aftermarket gauges that work in Panteras (and I'm afraid your present gauge will not be one they sell/servive).. This exercise can turn out EXTREMELY expensive and IMHO is probably not worth the trouble.
I just bought a set of Autometer guages and it listed a fuel gauge (#5716) that worked from the 33-240 ohm range. The sender from what I measured was 34-230 range. The lower # is empty which should work just fine. The higher # is about 10 ohms off which isn't a big deal. Maybe someone has tried this and can verify if this will work. I haven't completed the car so I want know for sure till its hooked up.
