Dennis,
Just replaced my high torque starter a couple of weeks ago (one I'd purchased from PPC in Colorado several years ago). Since it was Sunday I decided I'd give the boys at NAPA a shot at it before ordering one from another vendor - wasn't holding out any real hope that they could do me any good though. Lo & behold, they came up with the exact same starter & offered a lifetime warranty on it to boot! Cost me less than $150 & I was back on the road with no waiting or shipping charges. I'll get the part # for you when I get home from work tonight & drop you an e-mail.

Hey Michael,
Always good to say "HI"to you! Hope everyone is good in your family too. I'll be happy to send you the part # this evening when I'm mailing Dennis. Take Care!
BTW- I'll "second" what DeTom just said in the previous post!!

I, and many others, have been recommending the gear reduction starters from Alterstart in Dallas, TX. They are very affordable and work great. I've had mine on for about 3 years now, and have not had one problem. Their website is http://www.4alterstart.com/ , but they also sell them on Ebay much cheaper. Their store there is: http://tinyurl.com/7re4t They have one for sale on there right now for $65.
Bob,

Can you send me that NAPA starter number also please, thanks
