Only a company that didn't or couldn't care less about their brand would let someone get away with just putting the name DeTomaso on anything. Sheesh!

Looks to me like it's a Scorpion body kit from Automotive Concept and Design. Probably this same car, priced at $13,500 in 2009.

I used to live in PSL and I can tell you I have never seen the "car". Thank heaven for small favors what an abortion. Look I am all for if you can build it and like it go for it but PLEASE don't call it a DeTomaso call it a built by John or something. Sorry John.

I'm with Joe on this..... If you love it..build it dude! Just don't call it a DeTomaso.... If it was a recreation of a DeTomaso model...ok..I could understand that. But that, it just looks like a fancy Fiero to me. I have a little acid reflux every time I look at the pic and see "DeTomaso" on it. Guess it's just not my cup of tea.

David looking at the pictures linked in Joe's and Paul's posts it doesn't appear the De Tomaso badging was original to the kit. I don't think De Tomaso let anyone get away with anything.

Looks like inter-stellar space craft to me?

928's are not mid engine.. but in front.
They do have a transaxle ( gearbox in the rear )
