You have the best over-all version of the hydraulic cammed 351C 4V motors, known as the Cobra Jet (you'll often hear it referred to as a Q-Code motor).
The heads are open chamber, large port, large valve heads. Nominal 75cc combustion chambers, 8.8:1 compression ratio. It has cast flat top pistons. Its equipped with a Cobra Jet cam with specs of 206 degrees intake duration (at 0.050" lift), 221 degrees exhaust duration (at 0.050" lift), 115 degrees lobe centers, 0.481" intake lift, 0.490 exhaust lift. It has a dual point distributor, an Autolite 4300D spread bore carburetor which flows between 700 to 750 CFM, the block has 4 bolt main bearing caps and the crank has a medium duty balancer.
The motor was rated at 280 Net bhp, estimate that to be about 320 Gross bhp. NO fuel additive is needed, the valve seats were hardened by the factory, and you may want to experiment with fuels. My '74 Q code motor (8.0:1 compression ratio) runs best on 87 octane fuel.
