I'm amazed that the 3/8" socket set I bought in 1975 still works. And no parts have gone missing. The metal box and plastic insert is long since gone. I bought it in Germany to use for fixing my moped, the brand was Bullcraft.
I don't think it exists any more, but what company can survive when they produce tools that never need replacing? Wink

It's seen plenty of abuse, but everything works like "neu".

What's your old tool still in use?

I have some Snap-On tools left to me when my Grandfather passed a few years ago. I had the 1/2" breaker bar ratchet attachment replaced because the parts were not available for it. The Sanp-On guy looked up the serial number and found it was dated 1946. Grandpa bought them when he returned form the war.

Mikael -

Maybe they went out of business because their name was too close to another word that doesn't imply a high standard of quality here in the US...

"Bullcraft" sounds too much like "Bullcr*p".

Funny, though!

Rocky

P.S. I don't mean to be insulting to your ratchet - I am sure it is of the highest quality!
