I am ready to install my headliner and trim pieces and they are a little 'yellowed 'I have tried dish soap w/ soft brush which made a noticeable difference. the perimeter trim pieces have a discernible line/discoloration and I was hoping to get them a little better, any suggestions?

I tried simple green, then 409 and still was visibly yellowed. I used to cups of bleach in 2 gallons of water in a large storage bin and submersed the headliner overnite . in the am I drained off the solution rinsed in warm water , looks like new! even cleaned the back side of old glue! looked so good I removed the material off the 4 trim pieces and soaked them also. I made a fiberglass panel using the roof [ covered with plastic] as the mold, duplicating the shape ,glued aluminum foil covered bubble pack insulation on the roof side of the panel and 1/4 landau foam on the headliner side. I sprayed lizard skin @1/8 thick inside of roof [ 5 coats ] reinstalled panel /trim pieces . huge improvement in sound and temperature .headliner panel thickness is @9/16 inch.
