Help!
The B.F.Goodrich Comp T/As that came with my car were out of round from sitting too long. They were 205-60-15 front, and 245-60-15 rear on stock 7" and 8" Campys.
I bought a set of Dunlop Sport 8000 Z rated tires that are 205-ZR-50-15, and 245-ZR-50-15.
When I put them on the car, I realized they were much shorter than what was on there (duh, going from 60s to 50s will do that, genius), and they look kind of stupid since they don't fill up the wheelwells (I'm kicking myself as I type this). They also lower the car an inch and probably screw up my speedometer reading and my gas mileage, I guess.
Now, how to rectify this: If I locate a pair of 10" Campys for the rear, I can move the 245s on the 8" rims to the front. What size tires would I need to buy to mount on the 10" Campys for the rear?

The 245-50s in front are an excellent choice on 8" x 15 Campis, will increase cornering speed & handling, and vastly decrease the scrub radius of the front end. As for tires suitable for 10 x 15 rear Campys, there are close to none available in V.W or Z or better speed ratings, and really haven't been since the mid-90s. These same tires are needed for the fronts of GT5 and GT5-S cars on their 10 x 15" Campis. IMHO, this is mainly why there are sets of 10" x 15 Campis available nearly every week. I would suggest running 8x 15s at both ends and try to find a 26-1/2: tall tire in 265-285 profile. You will probably have to settle for a lower speed rating here, too, but at least your speedo will read correctly
