Where are the ZF experts?

Getting it done right the first time!!!!Well you have to ask your self do you want OEM parts or after-market parts like brass synchros and non-ZF gear cones, you have to ask the guy what he uses.

I would recommend giving Lloyd over at RBT transmissions (CA) a holler The freight to get it over via a carrier is min. in comparision to the workmanship (guess maybe $100.00 but Lloyd can help you know for sure)

They bought the rights to the ZF and have developed it further to include the 6th speed unit used in the supercar Saleen put together. Their info is contained on http://www.rbttrans.com/

A couple of the Pantera Vendors like Dennis at Pantera Performance in CO and others also do great work and you might consider them as well.

The 6-speed has me drooling, but the price
is way over my budget. Too bad, as it must
be a great unit. I'll stick with the original 5 speed. It does all I need. I just want to know what I have and that it is in A-one condition and the ring gear is safety wired too. Second gear may be going but it may also be clutch drag. I have to get someone to help me check the clearance of the cluth disc. Thanks again. This board
