If you check with Boyd Coddington, he has his own polish that he recommends for these wheels, and of course he sells it himself. I bought some and cannot really tell the difference between it and mothers. So since you can usually find mothers at most auto stores that seems more reasonable. But here is the info on it in case you are interested

You’re not going to believe this but Pantera East recommends using only a product like plain Maguire's Carnauba Wax. I do not know how they polish them at the factory but I absolutely know from first hand experience that if you use ANY of the aluminum wheel polishes it will destroy the factory shine on PE wheels. I take the wheels off, wash them on both sides with automotive soap and cold water, dry them and then polish them with Maguire's Carnauba Wax. http://www.panteraplace.com/page175.htm

Mike, are the PE wheels coated with a clear protective coating? My wheels (not from PE, but purchased used from another owner) are uncoated and looked like crap before I went at them with Mothers. Now that they shine like a mirror, wax helps, but wax alone wouldn’t get the small scratches out of my wheels. Now, if you’re starting with new wheels... wax should be all you need.
Mike's right....
Waxing them after polishing them helps seal them from oxidizing.
It also helps them clean easier in between polishing and brings them back to looking like they were just polished. If you wash them and dry them with a very soft cloth, it cuts down on the scratches and prolongs the time in between polishing them.
I wax mine all the time and driving my car as much as I do, I know it helps.
I was talking about keeping brand new wheels looking factory fresh using Carnauba wax. The PE factory polishing process is way better than anything you can do yourself with any of the aluminum polishes. In fact the aluminum polishes will destroy the factory shine. The PE wheels of course are not clear coated. I’ve had clear coated wheels on other cars and they always get rock chips in the clear coat.
