Any drivers looking for a passanger for a lap or two? you'd be my hero Wink Actually, it's not for me, rather it's for my lady friend, she just isn't understanding this whole Pantera "thing", and I'm thinking if she actually got a ride in one.........she'd get off my back! Razzer

I'm flying in 5/5 early, and plan on coming straight to the track, how far is it from the airport?

Regards Mark

It's not what 6808 is missing, it's what I'm missing! I missing the 12 hours a day that I'm stuck at work Mad Honestly, it's just a matter of free time, I slip in what small projects I can during the day, and work until I cann't see straight at night. But it takes time to get things the way I want them. I've already got about 25 hours tied up in the front grill shell alone, and I'm starting over Roll Eyes . ( see parts wanted fourum: grill exchange)
She is getting there though, I've updated photos from this weekend in the 6808 photo album.
Hope to join you on the road soon! Cool
A few years ago I got my kids a ride in a Mustang GT at Lime Rock.
When the guy brought them back he asked them how was it, scarry, exciting?
They both shrugged thier shoulders and said it's ok but my dad drives a lot faster then that on the street.
There's a sign in my car that says all female passengers must remove all tight fitting garments.
I guess she don't want to ride with me. (:
Rides are freely given by most of us - you just need to ask and then find a source for a borrowed helmet.

ANYONE, ANY AGE can do the course during the noon time drive around which is a 'brisk' controlled session of about 45 minutes. No helmets, even. You can even take the Escalade or Saturn. Available to anyone for $20 each day, free for the participants.

Main LV airport is right off the Strip, and the track is about 50 miles from the host Hotel which is just off the Strip. Probably an hour drive out to Pahrump/Spring Mountain.

If your room is at the Orleans, make sure they know you are arriving Friday. If your reservation was for Wednesday and you don't show up then, your room will be given away.

Your girlfriend is welcome to a ride in my car so long as the event organizers don't require Nomex for Group A (or if she has her own). Any PIBB members are similarly welcome although their girlfriends will receive priority.

I might have to take you up on that Matt.

Just got confirmation that non-instructor passengers won't be allowed in the A run group. Booooo!

I can sign up for a second run group for $60 but will need to take a look at Mark's girlfriend before I decide whether I should spring for the additional $$.

Matt, no need to spend the extra bucks, just looking for a parade lap or two.

trust me Matt, I might be bias, but I'd wager you would spend the money, and then some! Wink

I screwed up the quote when I told her about your sticker, I told her it read: All loose women, must remove tight cloths. She howled, and said she has a special t-shirt for PanteraDoug!
