OK, sports, here's one for you.
I have new weatherstrip around the doors. Good stuff, original shape and density. There is much wind noise above above the driver's door. When doing the dollar slip test, I get great sealing toward the rear and front. There is a section about six inches long in the center of the door where the dollar slips freely. (yes, I tried a twenty but it still slips.) The door shape exactly matches the contur of the passenger side both vertically and horizontally and the gaps are perfect. So... what is your best suggestion to correct the few thousandths of gap in the center? Come on, I know you can do it.
Thanks,
Glenn

I have what is i think the same issue. Lots of wind niose (and air movement) at the top rear of the th drives window. Seals are good and the fit on the door and window appear good. i have not had a chance to look at it yet but since the topic came up I thought I would add my two cents. at first glance the problem seems rather unique ( what esle is new?)
Right on the money, "what else is new". I've been fortunate that most things have been easy on the car but this wind noise is nuts. Of course driving with the window down solves the problem. Since the door structure seems correct, I wonder if the lip that the seal snaps over is a little warped causing the weatherstrip not to stick out enough. I'll have to check that.

The door seal around the window frame on the Pantera is a very strange design. The seal came from the factory with the rolled shape of the lip edge facing in toward the seal that goes around the body part of the door opening. When the door is closed the lip of the seal on the door tends to catch on the seal that is on the body. Part of the seal lip may slide over the door opining seal and other parts may roll so that it goes under the door opening seal and will distort the window frame out. I do not know what deTomaso was thinking but the seals just do not work together. A number of owners including me removed the seal from the window frame and swapped the right door with the left door so that the lip faces out. It makes the door close much better and seal better. Sounds confusing but makes the door close correctly and improves the seal around the window frame. The seal just slides out of the window frame.
