I am looking at a car where the bottom portion across the entire bottom is a foggy white color maybe about 1" tall. I have never seen anything like that before. What could be the cause of this?
Forest is correct, and to pre-empt you next question, there is no known fix beyond replacement. It comes from the way safety glass is made- two layers of tempered glass separated by a plastic sheet of the same optical clarity. One of the the glass surfaces & plastic have begun to debond, letting moisture creep in.
