On a stock, non wide-body car? Leave it alone. Rear wing detracts from the body lines too much. You can get away with a small front chin spoiler, and the rear sugar scoop 'spoiler' doesn't clash very much. But the large rear deck spoilers on the early cars is sort of like overdoing the implants on an already beautiful woman.

Just my 2¢

...I don't think they look out of place, at all! Ofcourse thats because Mine came with one, when I purchased it back in 2001. To see photos, on this BB, go to 'DeTomaso Photo Gallery', and look-up 'Marlins' Machine'. I say Go For It!! Just 'Measure Twice and Drill Once!!'
...Also, be sure to use large diameter washers under the bolt heads as a 'load spreader', Stainless Steel looks nice. You will feel the wings' drag as you accelerate over 100 MPH, but it will not hold you back much; as THIS wing has been over 140 MPH. And Thats a Fact!...
Coz,

On a topic loosly related to the subject of wings; the parrot pictured in your avatar is a beautiful bird, I love its markings. I assume its your pet.

I had an umbrella cockatoo in the home for many years, it was my daughters pet, he was another member of the family, and I miss him. My daughter is 27, grown up and out of the house. I want to have another large hook bill some day, I would have one now, but my main baby sitter (my daughter) moved to a foreign land called Arizona ( Smiler). So I'm holding out on acquiring the bird until I find someone who would baby sit (take the bird into their home)when I'm away on vacation.
