Woodward Dream Cruise

I'm up here for work and might go, and I have a weeding to go to that evening. If I go I'm kinda planning to go to Birmingham. On one side of the condo is a street blocked off with lots of parked classics displayed, on the other side Woodward Ave. At least they did a couple of years ago.

I plan to park in Pontiac at a paint store on the west side of Woodward. It is on south bound lane and near were north and south separate. The parking lot is not real visible from the road.
Last year was a parking lot south of 14 mile road.(afternoon)
The Mopar group adopted me and the RT guys rent the lot for the day.

I'll be on the east side of Woodward about a 1/4 mile north of Maple(15 Mile). Look for all the Mercury Marauders and I'll be there.

I was out there last night and did not see any Panteras. The Great Lakes chapter reached out to the Cobra club and they said we could join this year.

Usually, they are in downtown Birmingham. Look them up.

Unfortunately, this is my first year missing as my family is testing for their Black Belts.

That is where I see the Panera's is in Birmingham. Good set-up there. On one side of the block is 100's of parked classics, on the other side is Woodward Ave. Good buddy of mine has a condo there and he invited me to see the cruise a couple of years ago. I had talked myself out of buying a Panera and was happy with the decision. Got to his place and we walked out his building there was 6 sitting there. That was it, I was hooked.

My understanding is the Cobra club will be off Woodward on Hazel in Birmingham which is about half way between 14 Mile and Maple Roads. I plan on stopping by there for a bit before 10. If any of you Pantera owners are looking for a spot to park I have a place North of Maple that can accommodate you. Stop in where you see all the Mercury Marauders, if I'm not there yet, I have a Red 73 L series, get in touch with Dave P. and let him know I mentioned the location to you. The price is very reasonable and proceeds go the charity.

Spent 8 hours on Woodward. I went from 14 mile to 9 mile and did not see a single Pantera. I never got north of 14 mile.

Sat at Techicolor Paint in Pontiac 10-6:30 and never saw another Pantera. Mopar guys reported a yellow one parked and a L-model south of 14 mile.
I came in 11 mile about 10 AM and went south to 9 mile ,U turn , then all the way north to Pontiac.
I would like to report the SACC Restoration aluminum pulley helped over last year. Stop n go stabilized at 210 and most every thing else 190.
Next Sunday is Hines Drive Cruise , better luck then. Last year parked with several other Panteras.
