I'm just excited because after about two years, I can finally figure my Pantera's gas mileage (various reasons). So, around town gas mileage is about 10.8 mpg with the 40,000 mile, 340rwhp 351C in it. Mind you, I don't drive the car easy, but that still puts my Pantera at the top of the podium for biggest gas hog in the family. Big Grin

Technology rules. My 370rwhp Z06 (also weighing 3100 lbs.) gets 18 mpg around town.

Just fun observations here. Not trying to make a point or anything. I actually find it kind of charming that my Pantera gets 10 mpg! Big Grin

During my last run of the season (we have snow now...) I met DEEB for brunch about 85 miles away. During my round-trip I drove anywhere from 50 to 100 MPH (hey, they were twisty back-country roads) and when I filled up at the end, I got 18 MPG. OK, one thing is they were Canadian gallons, which are a bit larger than a US gallon, but still, I was shocked. I've never bothered to calculate my fuel economy in the Pantera before, but since I get about 16 MPG in my RX-8, I'm thinking I need to do the world a favor and drive my Pantera more... Big Grin

My engine is internally stock and as everyone knows... white paint is lighter. Smiler
I have a brand new motor and even on break in oil I have been averaging 15 MPG. I have the high milage modification though so you can't go by me. This winter I will install the high horsepower mod and I expect my milage to drop a lot. Once a motor is broken in it gets better milage though. Right up until it starts to wear out.
