Is that on the high end of the spectrum or the lower end of the spectrum?

Midrange. One pulled out of a car with a zillion miles and a poor second gear synchro might sell for $5000. A completely reconditioned box by RBT with new bearings, seals and synchros goes for $11,500.

I was looking for over a year! save your time and money looking just contact kirk evans .you will get a great item for a fair price. and super fast.

Beware!! With all the rusted parts on the outside and the fact that the case has been broken and the internals exposed to the outside air, there is probably considerable rust in the internal parts of this gear box. Just look where the shifter quadrant box is missing...... see all the rust on that cross shaft, BEWARE !!!!!

You should only consider the ebay zf for parts and price it accordingly. Maybe more like a thousand for it.

If you get something more from it then you got lucky but it is risky at three thousand to say the least.

Even $500 might be more realistic.
