HI from down under again. New Zealand has recently dumped leaded gas for the unleaded variety. I was wondering if someone could tell me whether the 73 351c came with hardened valve seats?

No, none of the 351C heads except the alloy SVO versions had valve seat inserts. As for "induction-hardening" the as-cast iron, that goes away after the first couple of valve grindings, and all these castings are now pushing 30 years old, so....

Are any fuel aditives advised to use with the unleaded fuel then?
