As long as I'm in a question mode, here is another issue.
A few years ago, in a stupid attempt to stay ahead of things, I decided to replace all bushings with the newer synthetic version. Not long after the installation the suspension stated sounding like it hadn't been greased in years. It was embarrassing!! so I re installed them, this time with more grease. It made things better for a while but eventually they started squeaking again, especially after driving for a while and heating them up. I gave up and bought and installed a new set of rubber bushings. I was a bushing installation pro by now, so I thought, but those rubber bushings are also beginning to squeak after about a year. What can be the problem here. The original bushings didn't squeak and never got greased as there was no means to do it. Do any of you have similar issues? If my car wasn't so loud I wouldn't take it out to where people know me.
