'71 Wiper Switch Removal

You have to stick a pick up underneath to push in a spring loaded pin and pull at the same time. It's pretty tight and you need to pull pretty hard. There is a small hole at the back and bottom of the black knob.

That did the trick!

Now I need to work out why the wipers aren't working. The washer switch part is (the push in) but the wipers themselves aren't.

The switch is "switching" when you change positions with all the wires off. They all needed new terminations which is done, but still nothing.

I'll keep looking, but in the mean time does anyone know if the switch get power to it directly (there's 12V on the green wire all the time that is also looped to the washer switch) or does it switch neutrals in that the wiper motor gets the 12V first?

I've got different wire colours (Red and instead of Blue) But I'll be able to sort it from the diagram.

I didn't get any circuits from G to what is on this one B or BR, so the rotary switch might be stuffed. I'll check again.
