Anyone have a part number for a 1971 1G 3 wire replacement? I dont want to go 1 wire I dont want to use any conversion kit. I just want to bolt up and take off. If anyone has part number I can take to the local auto parts store I would appreciate. I am traveling right now and My Pantera is what I am pulling behind the RV.

I have the one I took out of my 74 sitting here. I did the GM 96amp 12Si conversion. The only number I can see says 06105. There are some other numbers in the casting but I cannot make them out. I'll send you this one to get you out of a jam.

Just ask for a 1971 Mustang alternator. The guy at the parts counter is going to look it up by make, model and year anyway.

Where are you traveling at? If you are at the Barrett Jackson I'll give you my alternator I took off of my 72L.
