Any idea what this piece is? | The De Tomaso Forums

I was looking through a box of parts that came with my Pantera and ran across this piece. Does anyone have any idea where it goes? It doesn’t look familiar to me at all. It is approximately 14” long and 5” wide at the thickest part.

It goes next to the radiator to direct airflow through it. There should be one on each side in front of the radiator.

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately, I only have one of these. Do you know if the other side is just a mirror image of the one I have? It looks like it would be easy enough to bend one up.

As I recall they are and I looked at mine through the grillwork and they look like mirror images.

They should have a foam rubber strip along the edge and they should be installed so the foam part is on the edge of the tank and not the core.

Went and checked my 72 pre L. It's a shroud that goes on the right & left side of the front radiator.
