I want to put an ATI Procharger D-1 w/ 26 psi of boost on my pantera but there is not enough room for it to fit in a conventional manner.!
You told me WilWood used to make a system to have the supercharger work off a pulley system and be remote mounted but I can't find any further help or info on this. Do you have any suggestions or idea's because i may be a little crazy but I say "more power" is always a good thing.

Hmm how much boost? I recommend sticking with only 6# of boost with 9:5 or 9:0 compression. The more boost you run the more likely you'll just shower the road with the bottom end of your motor. Before installing the supercharger try to get the block built to take supercharging. With Arp studs (main, head), arp rod bolts, crower rods, Trw pistons, stud gridle, aftermarket balancer, o-ring the block, should make the block bullet proof for about 10#s of boost. The internal parts of the engine could take more but I've heard that 351c have thin casting walls, which reduce how much boost the can take.

Hope this helps

P.S. Boost is nothing more than a measuring of how ineffiecent your engine is(well sorta of). An engine with more porting, polishing and flow will produce less boost than a stock block with the same pully. More airflow = less boost.
I saw a Pantera sold out of a classic car dealer in San Diego that was twin turbo'd and had a super charger on it. It was suppose to have been built for the Silver State. It sold to a used car dealer in Greely Colorado. I hear he could not sell the car with all that on it so he had it removed by someone I know. Who has a Pantera.
