Has gone through some minor changes I see.
Just minor?
wheels, interior and paint are different
Have now learned it is a prototype and not a production version

really stiff suspension!
notice when entering the building, a board under the left front, lifted the left rear and the right front of the ground.
I recognize Greenwich Avenue..possibly Miller Motorcars of Greenwich Connecticut USA...as one of the wealthiest communities in the USA it makes sense to show the P72 there or perhaps deliver to a lucky customer...
The production P72 was to have a Ford engine.and not the Ferrari engine in the pre-production P72.
Can anyone weigh in on what engine is in this P72
Yes, good eye. Miller Motorcars.
There was a comment on the email list from Larry Stock who said he had learned it was a pre-production model. The multiple differences seem to indicate it is not just a cosmetically changed version of the Monterey car. No word on power in the blue P 72.

It really steals the show even while being surrounded by Mclarens.
Not a fan of this car.
I would be bummed if my new car was a "Stanley Steemer" like that... But maybe that's just the new engine.
The video didn't provide a real "DeTomaso Sound"... hard to judge from 2 minutes of YouTube video.
I think I'll hold onto my $850K for a while....

I'm also curious about the right hand drive.

For anyone who has lived in the Northeast USA winter days often combine cool temperatures and high humidity.Starting an engine in these conditions creates visible exhaust gases that resemble steam in appearance. This disappears once the engine is warmed up.
Spend the $ 1 M...don't forget to add the dealer mark-up.
For some reason the old fable “The emperors new clothes” comes to mind.

Well, yes, that is what the exhausts do this time of the year but also until it warms up weatherwise the relative humidity here now is almost desert dry. 30% and under, nose bleed time.
I thought the car was a center steer position, not left or right?
Spinning tires getting into the garage is not encouraging.
Holman was selling "continuation" GT40 Mark II and IV's 15 years ago for $995,000. I saw three get sold at that amount in about an hour right in front of me so $1 or $1.2 million probably will have enough customers to sell out immediately?
I wonder how these cars will comply with US regulations?
I know the "Greewhich" car dealers spot. They are all grouped together. I always feel uncomfortable when there. The sales people stare at you like they think you are a celebrity and they are trying to figure it out who you are? Maybe I should shave first before I go?
I thought just showering and changing my socks was enough? Maybe not?
Seems they may need a training class for operating manual transmissions.
