UPDATE: I' ve reached out to Huffaker to see it they have any additional info on this engine. It is 311 cu in - GT1/TranAm legal late 80s-2000s. The bore is standard. I don't know the cam specs. For the time period I'd assume flat tappet. I looked in a cylinder with a bore scope - there are still hone marks. I'm assuming it had 25 hours on it when freshened and the guy who built it ran 6-7 races. It sat unused in a TX warehouse for over 15 years. I'm thinking well under 100 hours total time. I wouldn't run it on todays pump gas - maybe with some octane booster. The engine is still in the car. It's a Speedway Engineering chassis with their QC rear end. Car is complete Mustang SN95 (1995-98) but missing the windshield, trans, driveshaft, fire bottle, etc $7,000 for whole package - includes full set of body molds. Send me your email and I'll send a PDF with full details.
