blue smoke

My first guess would be slowly deteriorating valve seals.

I was wondering if it could of been bad gas at one time a few weeks ago the car had run on from the gas that I got,? Could I have this been the cause of this ?thanks for your in-put .I just wanted to let you know that you have a beautful city in portland ,My son goes to the shrinners hosptil every 6 weeks for follow up ,on his leg ,great people their ,He once told me he saw a black pantera in salem like ours ,thanks for your time

Many race engines don't even bother to run valve seals. The cause of oil consumption is generally valve stem wear.

Do you have a hard time starting it? You have to turn the engine over a lot and pump the gas???

No I do not have a hard time starting it ,it seems to run great when I,m driving the car ,I bought a oil added that is suppose to fix seals well see what happens ,I do not want to pull the heads off,I will see what happens today . thanks for all the input

Kev, Nope, I have never had the car to Salem so it was not me. I have heard there is a second Black Pantera but I have never seen it. If your ever in town, let me know!
