Brake Master Cylinder Vacuum Line

I believe the 52 year old vacuum line from the engine to the master cylinder is leaking. Can I purchase a preformed line? Thanks Bruce

Hi Bruce…

You can get the braided, stock- looking stuff at places that support Volkswagens.

IIRC, It’s 17mm.

I haven’t seen preformed lines, but I haven’t really looked for it in a preformed configuration.

The soft line doesn’t really go very far, there should be a hardline running down most of the car.

One more thing, it is imperative that the hose you purchase is designed for vacuum use.
