What brand of brake pads are the best and were do i buy them for a stock 74? Are Pantera vendors the best option? I know i will get a blank stare at Napa Auto Parts unless i have a brand and part number.Thanks #7260

You can't go wrong with the Porterfield R4-S compound pads. The website is Porterfield.

Make sure you say for a Pantera. The rear brakes need a special tab to make the e-brake work.

Another vote for R4S pads. Call them, order them, put them on. You'll be amazed.
I replaced the original Wilwood pads that were on the Superlites when I bought 2511. Still had lots of pad, but the darn things just were not grabbing.
Porterfields made ALL the difference.
