Hi,

In the restoration (going slow...) we have tried to "fix" the rotors, but have given up Frowner

In an earlier topic we picked up the tip on buying Fiat back lenses, and then the question is; from which Ford comes the rotors ?

Easier & cheaper to buy them through a dealer here in Norway than paying weight & customs !! as a private person.

Anyone ? Cool

The rear rotors on a Pantera can be replaced with an ORIGINAL 65 Mustang front rotor.

The issue with that is they are obsolete from Ford and the aftermarket has modified them to now include the front bearing hubs.

I think though that if you have a 12" or 14"lathe in the shop, you can machine those hubs off of the rotors.

I don't know where you could get the front from though?
Mike Drew recently had a batch of 2 piece (less the hub) rotors fabricated by StopTech, I think they are all spoken for already, but perhaps if there is enough interest they will do another run. That wouldn't solve the high cost of shipping though.

He also cautioned against use on the rear though as the diameter's are different front to rear.

Best option may be to find someone who has upgraded their brakes & rotors in Europe or contact Roland Jaeckel. http://www.jaeckel-partner.de/en/detomaso
