My calipers were sitcking a bit so I pulled all four before I put my car away for the winter. I cleaned up the outsides then popped out the pistons and cleaned the bores and pistons up and reassambed everything with new seals and boots. The outsides were looking pretty rough still so I decided to paint the calipers in gloss black. Then, I had some custom Detomaso decals made up and applied them, and sprayed over them with a high temp clear paint. I filled in the Girling "G" on the front callipers with a high temp epoxy filler before painting.

Anyway, I thought they came out nice, so I thought I would share.

The decals came from vinz decals www.vinzdecals.com. They have many colors and fonts to choose from. Most are only $10 for a set, but mine are metalic silver and they were $20. The pictures dont show the metalic too well but they really jump out to you in person. A set consists of 5 curved, 5 large straight and five smaller straights. I used the larger straights on the rears.

I probably won't get around to mounting them for a while as I want to change out the rotors to '66 mustang rotors and I have a set of Konis to install too, and it's kinda cold in my unheated garage now. I am sure they won't show off too well with the stock campy's but you' be able to see them through my bling bling Colorado Custom wheels for sure
