Great dinner last night in a microbrewery's reataurant. We were expecting thundrstorms but I guess they went arouns us. Ron McCall and LashS came all the way with their super low cars, Mic and Carmen showed-up with theirs. We had a few fans admiring the cars, even had a young man on his knees bowing at Carmen's car when we were leaving, Sorry no naked protesters.
Had a beer tasting on the waterfront with our US guests then a wonderfull 5 course meal all flavoured in some form of beer. The best was all the car talk with our new (and old) friends. Can't wait till tomorow night to repeat in Little Italy

Ok, So Saturday we met-up at a local cruise spot for some major ogling and comparison of various owner's personalizations. We were even lucky to have a few owners we only see meet once in a blue moon; Nice to meet DenisB, Serge, Domenic & Brigid. Got so caught-up in Lash's & Ron's cars I forgot to take descent dailight pics (hopefully another member has). Then everyone got in their cars and cruise to little Italy to the restaurant. Thousands of people came by on a beautifull evening. As ususal great time with great people.

Yeah, we all had such a great time that cameras rarely came out. I managed to take a few shots as well. This was, as Denis showed, us all gathering to head down to Little Italy.

The white car, which I almost thought was mine for a minute, is owned by Domenic, who saved all his early earnings as a very young man and bought this car new. One of the very few "original-owner" Panteras that I know of.

And we finally got to see Lashdeep's amazing GT5-S. What a beautiful car and a very proud owner. I couldn't believe he drove it 28 hours home from Texas to DC in WINTER! With no heater either.

..and after a month of little projects, my new Pantera was also finally ready for public scrutiny.

Once settled into Little Italy, the cars were an immediate hit. Ron's beautiful '71 drew lots of attention, especially with those amazing 180 headers.

Once the cars were doing their job of grabbing everyone's attention outside, we all headed into a well-know Montreal Italian restaurant for a large group dinner.

Service was pretty slow because every restaurant for miles was packed full, but flowing wine and good conversations made it an enjoyable wait.

When we finally headed back outside it was dark. There were still thousands of people admiring the cars.

It was almost 11:30 before we finally decided to call it an evening. It was a great time and nice to get caught up with fellow enthusiasts and owners from Ontario, Quebec and the Northern States. Thanks to Lashdeep, Michel and David for organizing, and for everyone who made the effort to come for the get-together. Until next year!

Looks like you guys had a blast! I had the slightest chance to come up saturday night but it quickly slipped away. wish I could have been there.

I can't believe I hadn't seen this thread before today.

This trip was absolutely amazing...one to not miss *EVER*.

The Canadian Detomaso contingent is very enthusiastic and accommodating. It was great to see everyone again.
