carbon fiber dash in early cars

I've not seen an early-model dash carbon kit; are you talking of swapping a later dash into an early car, then adding carbon fiber to that? If so, sure its possible and fits the cabin, but the late dash requires a late model heater/AC box with the defroster vents in the proper places to reach the new dask outlets. The area where the console joins the dash is different in the two types of dashes too, so you either need the late console, or be skilled in adapting mismatched parts. This has been done in the past so its possible to do, but its NOT a bolt-in.
