Will,

Here is the thread on the car you were talking about. If you scroll down the page a bit there are pics of his car with the carbon hood and sticker on the roof. On this page he also talks about a different brand of carbon sticker that is more “three dimensional” in look. Click here for thread on Pantera #3427

Also here is a link to Chris’ webpage.http://augerresources.com/ashtonsgarage/

P.S. Chris gave me some pointers on my car and is very helpful.
It can be tough to get every little bubble out. Also wrap material comes in different thicknesses and grades, affecting ease of use. I'd recommend at least talking to a professional installer and using his services if considering wrapping a whole car.

Wrap is not good on compound curves so cuts need to be made, these don't show up when you see photos of wrapped cars online, I'd recommend you go physically look at one that has been done. Fortunately a Pantera doesn't have too many modern compound curves.

There's a Ford GT on and off Ebay that has full carbon wrap and IMO it looks like sh*t.

I agree its tough ... but a good start is with DOVE soap and water on the paint its getting applied to and then the sticky side ...this enables you to slide it around for a short time and get the bubbles out ... another trick is pop the bubble with a needle and smoothen the air out. Make sure the car and the decal is warm ...not hot and not cold where its not plyable.
