Cats at Crusin' Grand (San Diego area)

April 3rd starts the new season of Crusin' Grand in Escondido in the San Diego area.

The local Pantera Club is organizing an impromptu meet and setting up parking for opening night. This is also "hot rod" night.

The "official" Pantera corral is scheduled for June 19th. I believe that last year about 30 Panteras were displayed and the hope is for about 40 cars this year.

Cruisin' Grand is every Friday afternoon and evening through September. This is quite a weekly car show as thousands of folks will show up to gander.

The night when non-street legal race cars show up and are allowed to cruise the city streets is quite a sight to see AND hear.

Wish I could make it - sounds really COOL! Our cruises don't start until April & thankfully that's just around the corner dancing Don't know what I'd do if a group of 30-40 P-cars showed up at one of our cruises! Eeker Probably have a freak'in heart attack since there's only 4-5 Panteras I know about in the whole State of Kansas. Have FUN!

The "impromptu" gathering of the San Diego Pantera Club now has 14 cars scheduled for display with probably some more RSVP's to come. Smiler

Hitting 40 cars on June 19th, the "official featured marque" Pantera night, is the long term goal. We expect some folks to drive in from the OC, LA and Inland Empire areas to join the fun. Escondido is located in northern San Diego County, so it isn't that much of a trek for members from these other areas to join the group.
