Since you didn't specify what you're looking at, I'll guess. If you mean the mousetrap spring around the clutch pivot shaft under the dash (which frequently breaks), it requires removing the whole dashboard, then the pedal assembly. I suggest using a hardware store door spring stretched from pedal to some secure place under the dash. If you mean the spring attached to the clutch slave, the same source applies or the vendors have exact replacements. There's also a spring internal to the slave cylinder that means removal & disasssemby of the cylinder and alother mousetrap type wrapped around the bellcrank shaft inside the bellhousing... and this is only the clutch! Please be mote specific in whats wrong, as I'm out of guesses.
You've got it on the first try!

Looks like I'm off to the hardware store because I sure as heck don't want to remove the dashboard! Thanks RickS
Fixed with orignial part from Collectors Choice! Called by buddy Les who said Gil just did his car. Called Gil and he said no sweat we'll have it done in 5 minutes! Gil's work is copy machine repair so he's used to odd parts in small places. Darn if he didn't get it fixed in 10 minutes! (Had to take the remains of the old spring off.) THANKS GIL! And since there's only room for one under the dash, I have no idea how he did it... but it can be done!!!
