Thanks Gary, because this weekend I went RETRO!! Yep, took off my Hall Ultras, took out the spacers, put the campis on and drooped the car ride height over two inches. Now my car is way faster. Why?? Well I theorise it is because now the nose is pointed downhill. It tricks the car into thinking it is driving downhill so it goes faster. Big Grin
Anyway, that is my story and I am sticking to it. Wink

Yes but it is a European version. No black for the US market cars.[/QUOTE]

Yep, she is one of a kind. I never thought in my whole life I would ever be anything special. Now I own the ONLY car in the wwhole world that is just like this one. That is my claim to fame. I want that on my tombstone. Big Grin

gorgeous car Larry, I love the way a good silver glistens in the sun like polished aluminum. silver is the only color that does that.

silver is very understated. not menacing like black. not bright & attention getting like red, blue and YELLOW. doesn't stand out like white. its a classy color, for classy people! Wink

Hey George, I been thinking about this. You know those guys who have their cars acid dipped at the platers to get all the old paint and undercoationg off??? Well I was thinking that is also the first step in the chrome plating process, so while you were at it, just go ahead and chrome plate the entire car. Now THAT will be one shiny car. It will look like a blinding ball of light in direct sunlight. Think about it. It would definetly be a one of a kind car. Wink
Hey DeTom, Yeah my guy who painted the car, painted the original emblems that were on the car with the body color. It was a big question I had about doing the stripes, I didn't know how to handle the emblems and my painter came up with that idea and I really liked the way it came out. I was nervous about doing the stripes, I wanted something different since most of the shows if there were 10 panteras at least 6 were red. I am happy with the results even if P-Doug thinks they were applied with a roller and since its my baby that's what counts. Thanks for the kind words, DeTom.

I saw a Pantera once in that color and it really looked good.
I didn't take a pic though.

No Doug, I didn't. It was up on a lift and under a cover. But, Mike probably will have it on the showroom for sale soon. I'll call and see if he has any digital pics. If so, I'll try to get one or two and post them.

Get an idea of what your car (at least a pre-L) will look like in different colors; maybe Playboy Pink. Try out the Pantera color selector on my website:
http://www.banzairunnerpantera.com/color_selector.htm

The color selections are a mix of original colors (or my best attempt, but still need adjustment) and some addional colors I added. I'll let you guys know when I've updated it again.

Cheers!
Garth
