While on the subject of coolant tanks from Pantera Dougs thread, I have a question I would like to take a poll on the replies
I have the original tanks that were painted over plating. I plan to go back with the header tank arrangement so my question is;
Do I modify my original tanks OR do I make/buy?
as for buying, the photos of SS tanks and pipes I seen at various vendor look like original design. I wonder if vendor would modify to my plans
the big concern over modifing, besides harming the value (if there is one), would not being able to plate where modifications are made
any ideal what original tanks in OK condition would bring?
