Well, I got the dash and the evaporator out.

It really wasn't all that bad. The dash is only held in with 6 screws and they are all pretty easy to get to.

A good portion of the wires do not have to be removed. I left the speedo and the tach in the dash and removed them with the dash. They both have a large connector that can be unpluged leaving the wiring still connected on the back on the units. Of course the speedo cable needs to be disconnected.
