Yes as the name tells you "Demon Carburetor" so appropriately named, i've been trying to install a electric choke on the carb for about 3 hours. God I love blurry photo copied instruction manuals.
Dennis, If you haven't managed to get it to work yet - just don't bother. I ripped all the choke mechanism off my Holley - including the choke flap. I don't miss it.
The "Demon". I have run a Demon for about 4 years now and love it. I installed the choke (I hate to say with no problem) as I had never used one before. In hindsight, I would leave the choke off. For what passes for cold here and from what I know in Austarlia, you won't really need it! Cheers, Mitch
Mitch It's not so much for the weather, but so you dont look like a freak when you car stalls at the traffic light. Tkaes a while to get hot, once it's hot no problem at all... Where abouts are you located Mitch? Dennis
Ormond Beach, Florida. Stalls at the light? That's what all that gas pedal is for! Seriously, I haven't had a stalling problem. I bought the car in Southern Cal and lived in Washington State for a bit before moving here 11 years ago. It only got the choke when I lived here and I think I could do without it. I just like to get rid of things I don't use. Less wire, fewere nuts etc. Mitch Mitch
