Demon Carb!

If you haven't managed to get it to work yet - just don't bother.
I ripped all the choke mechanism off my Holley - including the choke flap. I don't miss it.

The "Demon". I have run a Demon for about 4 years now and love it. I installed the choke (I hate to say with no problem) as I had never used one before. In hindsight, I would leave the choke off. For what passes for cold here and from what I know in Austarlia, you won't really need it!

It's not so much for the weather, but so you dont look like a freak when you car stalls at the traffic light.
Tkaes a while to get hot, once it's hot no problem at all...
Where abouts are you located Mitch?

That's what all that gas pedal is for!
Seriously, I haven't had a stalling problem. I bought the car in Southern Cal and lived in Washington State for a bit before moving here 11 years ago. It only got the choke when I lived here and I think I could do without it. I just like to get rid of things I don't use. Less wire, fewere nuts etc.
