Has anyone been able to coax the switches back to life, or is there a specific key sequence?
The RH button cycles through hours minutes seconds but the others won't change the values....

Have you tried just polishing the contacts with contact cleaner (both sides) and scotch brute (or something finer)?
From the picture you posted, it looks like the buttons just short across the two adjacent rings on the circuit board…
you could probably make a temporary power harness, and test the clock with the faceplate off…
Yes, I've tried cleaning, but it's no better.
The buttons are rubber or plastic, so it's not a complete short. Probably some kind of capacitive effect.
I am powering it off a bench supply...

if you haven’t already try a Google search for a term such as veglia digital clock manual.
I put in that search term and though I didn’t find an exact answer for your clock, there were a number of threads with interesting information.
the red button may just be an illumination button from what I read. Holding the left button while pushing the right button may also get you into a different menu

Thanks Larry. My RH sometimes works but the other two never. The only way I can set the damn thing is wait till midnight, plug it in and hope that the RH will work during that 1 minute window....
