Saw a Pantera recently and the metal around the door handles was quite out of shape. I think mine has been reinforced behind in that door handle area because it doesn't seem to flex like that car I saw, or maybe I just don't pull that hard. I would suggest if you are doing a restoration or repaint, it may be worth the effort to reinforce that area or go porn (completly bare) without the door handles. Seems to be a weak spot on these cars. I think some have gone bare.
