The VIN tag on my car was missing when I bought it and I wish to replace it. Has anyone done such with a vendor and if so how did you get the tag stamped with the VIN numbers. thanks

It's reverse stamped from the rear so the VIN number looks raised toward the outside. Buy the correct blank one & have it stamped or we can do it.
Ive asked this question twice on this forum and got zero replies. if you do happen to find out how to do this please let me know. Ive had a new tag in my basement now for 16 years!
We do 'em all the time for Forum members.
Sharkey can make it happen. He can do anything. I would give him the information, sit back and admire your car until he ships you the new vin tag. He is the man!

thanks Sharkey. Will call you.
NP, we're normally on the clock best to call after 4 :-)
I got one from a different vendor, cost me $100 for the tag and stamping, and it delaminated, and looks way crappier than the one I had.
I’m sure Pantera Miami would do a way better job. I may be calling for a replacement.
Were the original tags metal?
