Driving Events in the Northeast

For those of you who are interested in track time, the Empire Region Ferrari Club would like to welcome Pantera drivers to join them in some up comming events.

July 24-25 Lime Rock, CT
Sept 4-6 Watkins Glen, NY
Sept 30-Oct 1 New Jersey Motorsport Park, NJ

Jim Wallace, Kurt Marsh and I had a great time at Watkins Glen these last two days. There were 30 + cars there and we all had lots of track time.

You can't find a more challenging track in the East.

5481 found out what it is like to drop a valve yesterday. If you don't hurt your engine once in awhile you aren't racing.

The Instructors were eliminated from the CSD driving event, I dont see it on the application this year and I wasnt able to get to Lime Rock and take 3 days off work to get a license .. so for me I dont have a show car and the driving event is always the most fun .. so I;m going to pass on CSD this year and attend a few PDA events with instructors.

Ron,
I've been to the Glen last year and Wed and Thur of this week. It is a blast with lots of elevation changes. Lime Rock is smaller and also has lots of elevation change. I plan to be there this summer.

Can't do CSD as I need a new motor now.
